In the next update there will be a standard set of categories as well as you being able to add your own personal ones. Currently you create the categories you want based on what you write about

Categories are currently set up for individual blogs and not blogs as a whole. When updated, that should make it easier to search for a specific topic from all the blogs that you are interested in.

oooooohhhhhh, is there a way to search for someone specific's blog that I'm missing now? If they scroll off into blogheaven I might not ever get back there.....????

Well, you can get a list of all the blogs right now... and then search for a name using the browser's search function. But I suppose you mean a more specific search function?

Jeffrey, a set of standard topics are a good place for someone setting up to start. I think it an excellent idea!

I get it now -- the catagories are to catagorize entries within your own blog, so someone reading it can see all the $20 challenge entries for example. Perhaps a sentence or two explaining the purpose of the catagories on the "add catagories" page would be helpful.

I'd like to see the ability to catagorize the blog as a whole. (Maybe use the terms "Blog-Catagories" and "Entry-Catagories"?) Since there are so many blogs and not enough time to sample them all, it would be nice to ask the software to show me a list of the blogs in the catagories I'm interested in. Some way to bookmark my favorite blogs would also be nice.

Thanks for hosting these blogs in the first place! It really enhances the website!
