deleting/editing comments you've written

I'm wondering if there is a way to edit or delete comments you've written on other people's blogs. It would be nice to be able to do that when you've made a typo or typed the wrong name, for example.

I didn't see this topic anywhere else, but if I missed it, just point me in the right direction!

I wish that was possible as well. Even if it's only a 10 minute window or something. That'd be nice.

Done! There should now be an edit link under your comment for up to 10 minutes after you submit it.

Problem with this feature. The edit works to open an edit window where changes can be made, but the save button doesn't function. Changes are not saved, and the edit window just stays open until I hit cancel.

Does it work for anyone else?

OK, I just went back and checked it again with the same result. Edit window opens, text is edited, but the update button has no effect. When I cancel, I'm left with the original text unedited -- naturally.

Well, I've managed without the feature thus far. I guess I can soldier on.

Hmm. I checked out what you're saying, Bookie.

I noticed that when you hit the "Update!" button, the edit window remains open. However, when I reloaded the page, the edit window will be gone, and it displayed the change.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried and it still doesn't retain the edited text. I'm either missing something, or the forum gnomes are playing with me.

Because on your comments, your name is always black, not blue...but maybe that's just because you don't have a blog?

I have no idea...just brainstorming.
