  • Notice from Vanguard about diversification status of certain funds

I got a notice from Vanguard regarding 5 of their funds (one of which I own) saying there is going to be a shareholder proposal to change funds' diversification status from diversified to non-diversified. As I read it, it means they will be allowed to be more concentrated in their investments.

Do any of you know anything about this? Is it a good thing? I certainly trust Vanguard to do what's best for their clients so I'm inclined to go along with it when the voting paperwork comes but I was curious to hear any other thoughts.
