      "less maintenance" might be a better argument. It's still a car that needs car related parts serviced. Most ICE engines nowadays can go 100k or more before a "major service" is required. Heck oil changes are 10k miles or more.

      Personally I think Tesla's build quality is below industry average, and it's a niche product for consumers interested in "saving the planet"
