    Hello everyone,

I am currently studying in human science at UCL in Belgium.
I would like to see your opinions about what I can now do with € 10,000.
I think it is more interesting to leave my money in a savings account because the rate is very low in Belgium.

I would like to invest in stocks, bonds or mutual funds, but my bank does not deal about that. So I am going on a stock exchange site.

What do you recommend as site?
Do you find it interesting to invest in gold or in investment funds in the real estate sector (nursing home, hospital, ...)?

    Thank you in advance

Before investing, make sure your month-to-month finances are in order. The link in my signature can help with that.

Are you currently working while you are at school to pay school off? or do you have free tuition? I am curious as to why you have 10k you are willing to invest while in school. If all of your financials are taken care of, read up on investments and decide which way you are more comfortable investing. I would definitely look at the link in Feh's signature, lots of good information there that can make sure you are prepared to make this leap.

Figure out what you need to improve your college experience first. I highly recommend reading up on ETFs. If I was in your situation, I would put a large sum of the money in a broad market fund. Of course, you are young enough to take some chance!
