With the stock price plunging the last few days his people inside the company sold their stock holdings, is there any chance that the stock will recover in the foreseeable future? It seems to me that if the insiders are trying to cash out as quickly as possible, that's not a good sign for the future of the company. If those people thought that the stock price would continue to rise, they wouldn't be so willing to sell as soon as they had the opportunity. Am I missing something here? Your thoughts?

Will Twitter ever recover?

Twitter tanked pretty hard these past two days...
I can't give you advice on this stock, but I for one will never invest in social media... They can come and go like the wind...
If you own this stock sorry for the decrease in price. If insiders are cashing out, and they are insiders, either they really need that money or they don't believe in the business. I would go with the latter.

The truth is, I only like Twitter for its relative simplicity. Beyond that, I for one don't know why anyone would want to use Twitter when they can, for example, use Google+ (which sadly never quite caught on). I mean, you are talking about a simplistic social media platform that has a character limit and has no inherent tagging ability (hence all the jokes about the hash tag).
But that's strictly from an user-stand point. I don't know anything about their company financials, but I would think something like this is still difficult to quantify and valuate.
I also get the feeling that the younger generation have already moved on to something else (perhaps YouTube channeling). If somebody can invent the next Twitter of YouTube, they could be on to something huge....
