  • VGTSX (vanguard total international) question?

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows the percentage of small caps within the Vanguard Total International Index fund? After several searches both online and on bogleheads, all I could find was that the VGTSX has small caps within the fund, I just can't find roughly what the percentage is.

If anyone knows, it would be a great help.

    Thanks.

The fund holds 5,505 stocks. At Vanguard.com you can view the complete list of holdings in order by market value so you could easily count up how many are "small cap" by whatever measure you want to define that.

It holds about 3% in small cap and 16% in mid caps:

Unfortunately it doesn't break down what countries those allocations are in.

If you'd like to look at any fund's breakdown I'd suggest using Morningstar and then click on the "portfolio" tab (between the "stewardship" and "expense" tab) to see the allocation.
