  • Should the wife or husband be in charge of investments?

In your opinion, should the wife or husband be in charge of investments, or should it be a combined effort. How do you have it set up in your family. What problems do you have with your set-up? What are the positive points of how you have it set up? Would you make any changes? Those who have been divorced. Do you have regrets how you had investments set up? What changes would have you made?

Whoever is better at it. In our case, that's me (wife). I have a financial background, the time to do research, and I enjoy managing the investments.

I do ours because I have the interest to do it.

See my answer to your nearly identical post about who should pay the bills.

          * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
          * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

Same here. I do make sure that my wife knows how the investments are doing, including the little "war stories" that come along from time to time regarding a windfall stock sale profit, a bad-news dividend cut, etc.
