    Hi everyone,
I would like to add an emerging markets fund to my portfolio. I am 29 and can take a lot of risk.

I am with Vanguard currently and am looking at the:
Vanguard Emerging Mkts Stock Idx Adm (VEMAX)

It has a 3 star morningstar rating and a risk rating of 3. Any suggestions?

I am restructuring my portfolio to match this:

    Aggressive

    20% Large-Cap Stocks
    20% Mid-Cap Stocks
    20% Small-Cap Stocks
    20% International Stocks
    10% Emerging Markets Stocks
    10% Intermediate Bonds
    0% Short-Term Bonds

Also, what percentage of my portfolio should I use to invest in precious metals? 5%?

Portfolios grow faster with fewer asset classes in them. You have stocks and bonds, stick with that. Add precious metals when you are focused more on portfolio stability than aggressive growth.

I like T Rowe Price emerging markets stock and bond funds. They even have funds which focus on sectors (africa-middle east, latin america, asia).
