Vanguard Reverse Split on S&P 500 ETF

Vanguard announced that its going to do a 1-for-2 reverse split on VOO on Oct 24th in order to keep transaction costs down. So instead of trading at around $77 it'll be more like $154. Value-wise the split doesn't really mean anything but just an FYI.
