I had invested with HDFC LIFE by opening a policy with them. Now I have realized that the staff of HDFC BANK have forged my signature to open fraudulent policies, repeatedly forging my signature to debit my savings bank account to do so. Upon complaining to HDFC Bank and HDFC Life about it, their senior staff members conceded (during recorded meetings) that forgery had taken place. However, the forger continues to work with this bank, with no action taken against him. After doing some research online about HDFC, it seems they makes it a practice to forge signatures of customers to debit accounts fraudulently and senior management is well aware of it, and allow it since it increases their profits. Even after conceding that their staff members were forging signatures, HDFC Bank and HDFC Life have been refusing to cancel my policy with them. How can I take action against them?

I suggest stopping any automatic deposit to HDFC, withdraw any sums in any a/c at HDFC. Did you verify HDFC follow any of the regulations? Are there other complainants? Recovering funds will be a l-o-n-g slooow process but I hope you see it through. I'd blog every site that relates to banking complaints, electronic banking , finance to let people know about the scams.

Thanks for your response. I wish I had done some research on HDFC before investing with them. There seem to be dozens of customers who are being cheated by HDFC with full knowledge of their senior management. If you try to contact their management, their email addresses are all fake. Just searching "HDFC LIFE complaints" on the internet seems to bring up tons similar cases. I am unable to post links on this site or I would have given those.
Are their any specific sites or forums that I need to post in, so as to warn other potential victims?
