    This is what I have invested about equaully. The very right column is expense ratios.

    Any comments or suggestions?

    PS: I have no idea what I'm doing.

    I would highly recommend a Vanguard Target Date fund. Choose the date closest to when you think you might retire (i.e. "Vanguard Target Retirement 2045") and try to forget about it.

    The target date fund will make sure that you're diversely invested in the entire market - US Stock, International Stock, and US Bonds - and it will slowly decrease your risk profile as you approach retirement age.

    For someone who doesn't wish to learn lots about investing, but ALSO doesn't want to pay an advisor a ton of money to do things for him or her, the target date funds are perfect.

    (ETA the target date you have in there is fine already, so you don't need all that other stuff in there. Some people add REITs to the basic three fund portfolio, but you should know why you're doing that if you want to do it, so with you I'd just keep it all in the target date. Keep contributing and stop worrying about it.)
