  • Mortgage Rates in 6 months?

    Any experts out there wanna guess what the mortgage rate will be in 6 months? Would it be safe to say they would be about 4%? Curious as to what you all think.

    "Mortgage rates" is a very nebulous term. My guess - keyword "guess" - is that current rates will be mostly unchanged. The Fed said last week that they're going to continue QE at the current pace, so new money is still being created to feed the investment markets.

      Thanks for the input. I also heard that report this week as well

      I actually found something after posting this question that projected 4% by the 4th quarter of this year. They had projections for last year and were about 0.2% higher than what they actually were. So they seemed to be on the mark for there projections.
