  • Marriott and Facebook stock?

They seem to be expanding aggressively. And I like their model (as you can see from my last blog entry). Their rewards system is the best. Unfortunately, their dividend is very low. And if there is a fiscal cliff, a lot of business travel would be cut (government and contractors).
But if there isn't, they should do well.

I'm thinking about next medium to long term stock. Higher dividend would be ideal, but I don't know companies where I'm very familiar with the product that pay high dividends.

All stocks I end up buying are not in line with my dividend aspirations.

I made some money on Facebook, and I think it will do well long term, I was just waiting for it to dip a little to re-buy. But it hasn't in the last few weeks. I wonder if waiting longer would be a mistake.

I'm intrigued by tech stocks. Intel and Microsoft look oversold to me. Both pay a dividend. Apple is starting to look attractive as well.

I haven't researched Facebook or Marriot all that extensively.
