    I know this has been discussed in the past, but I couldn't find it:

    Which online broker is the least expensive in terms of fees? Any to avoid?

    Optionshouse seems to be the cheapest. And don't let the name fool you, it's not just for options. I'm going to open account with them soon myself.

      Are fees the only thing you look for in a brokerage firm?

        I didn't see Interactive Brokers anywhere on that list. I'm a little curious as to why they didn't make the cut when as far as I can tell they're well established.

        I am currently with them, and they are $0.005 per share (ie. 50 cents per 100 shares), minimum $1 per trade. Although they do have inactivity fees and their phone support is awful (from what I hear), so far I have had zero problems with them.
