  • Money market savings account help!

Hello, so I'm interested in opening a money market account but not sure which is best for me. I Currently have a MMA with BOA with $10k in it with 0.13% and I don't like their service and want to switch. I don't like the idea of online savings account though. I want to be able to go to a branch and get personal services. I want a high APY. Any credit union or banks are okay.

    Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you!

I have a MMA at my brokerage firm. They have an office locally and offer checks and debit card service, but I have everything set up online.

Where do you live? I'm sure that they are institutions locally that offer this service. A quick google search will yield countless results.

You could try looking for local banks here:

      Bankrate

It might not give you all the local banks available but could give you an idea of what's out there.

Unfortunately I don't think you're going to get much better of a rate if you don't want to go online. I use Ally Bank online and they're one of the better ones and I'm only getting 0.84%. You might be able to find something decent with a CU. Good luck.
