Is there any way to find out which mutual funds buy stock in corporations that greatly provide military support? Obviously, Lockheed Martin is a big one. I just dont want my money bankrolling wars in the middle east.

I think the only way you'd be sure of avoiding it is to invest in a sociallly responsible fund that specifically blocks defense contractors. Most other funds that invest in large company stocks are likely going to have exposure to those companies since they are major multinational corporations that do many things in addition to defense work. Lockheed Martin is a perfect example as they are involved in all aspects of the aerospace industry, robotics, energy, health care, computing, security and more.Steve

* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.
