  • Investing Book Recommendations

    Hi everyone,

I was wondering what are everyone's favorite books for learning about investing. I'm interested in all aspects of investing but leaning more towards books for beginners.

    Thanks!

You can try the "For Dummies" series if you want to start at the beginning. I believe they make them for investing, estate planning, stock trading, and they may have a few other titles as well.

If its Investing "For Dummies" is a good book for the very basics. Then follow it up with The Little Book that beats the market. Thats my two cents.

However, if its personal finance you are really wanting. Dave Ramsey is the way to go.

I'd echo the above. I started with "Online Investing for Dummies".

I quite liked the Finish Rich series by David Bach. "Smart Couples Finish Rich," "Smart Women Finish Rich," "The Automatic Millionaire," "Start Over, Finish Rich" and "Start Late, Finish Rich." He has an engaging writing style and makes things really easy to understand. My library had them all, including the workbooks. I walked away feeling like I'd really learned a lot and didn't have my eyes glaze over at all while reading them.
