What companies are you holding or have your eyes on?

Just got in AEO at 15.33. Hoping to hold this one out for awhile. Healthy dividend and the company has little debt.

I have my eye on FTC. High debt but has been paying a high and consistent dividend for several years.

Also watching ETC. Natural Gas trust.

I've been buying Base Metals based on agenda in India and China. Anyone else watching Agri Market production changes or researching COW-T or MOO-N to buy July?

What is going down in July? Is that for options? I have no knowledge of commodities...

I'm watching HGSI for a potential short this AM... FDA approval was widely expected imo...

Yesterday was a crazy day.. bought 4K shares of NFLX at 192.6 for a bounce to 193.8... Gotta stop getting into large positions like that. Right now I feel better getting short since I think the markets are massively overbought. TNA/TZA are the two that I like to play.

The markets are very interesting here... which way will this wedge on the 60min chart break out?

          http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%5EGSPC+Interactive#chart1:symbol=^gspc; range=3m;indicator=volume;charttype=candlestick;cr osshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=on;source=undefin ed

Looking to possibly get long VXX here...

I sure wish I had held those 4K shares of NFLX overnight... ah well...

Looking to buy for a bounce here, maybe TNA, currently 76.4

Hard to know where to go when there's this level of hemorrhaging. I really like the short idea on HGSI actually. There's no more good news for that company aside from getting bought out.

The only thing that concerns me on this one is that cost of goods sold has been rising faster than revenues over the past few years. Seems like good ol American Eagle is maturing. Profits may just be depressed while everyone's in cutback mode right now, so you might be getting in at a lower point of the business cycle.

TTM Revenues are almost identical to 2008 revenues, but the net income is only 1/3 of 2008 net income. That's due mainly to the increased costs of goods sold - other expenses have remained fairly steady. That's the only thing that bugs me. Might indicate their suppliers are taking more of the profit away from them.

But I love the company's product. I wear American Eagle stuff all the time. Definitely a good product.

I may actually add this one to my own portfolio soon after I think about it some more.

Trying to buy some HGSI $25 Oct. puts

Really wish I sold more AFFY $6 puts when it dropped a couple of days ago. Just felt over-exposed.

Im right now in the middle of my semi annual review so I will give my selections in the coming week or so. That being said ... Ebay looks to be a stock I will still be holding onto.

Its did well yesterday. I like the products, too. At least the business of American Eagle is a business I can understand, much less semi-conductors and what not.

If you mean this in a positive way please enlighten me as to what you see. Gotta be honest; I see a company that is incredibly expensive with a lackluster return and absolutely leveraged to the hilt. Looks to me like rooting for worst horse to win the race.

                            But Im no Guru.

I wouldn't touch the stock, but what a gain!
