Which company do you use for your investing (IRA, Roth IRA)? I am looking into Fidelty and T. Rowe Price. Any opinions? Thanks.

        T Rowe, Fidelity, Vanguard.

        They all have their perks.

Fidelity is probably my least favorite of the three. Had it initially for a 401k. Keep it for some good funds.

T Rowe - low priced for excellent managed funds. You only need $50 to invest with them, which was a selling point for me. Excellent customer service.

VG - Low cost/lots of diversity. I opened an account for my spouse there (something simple for him - he doesn't do finance). I like it enough I just put a 401k type rollover into VG in my own name.

I dislike Fidelity's website. Not user friendly for the average investor. The fund we are in is just so so...I need to find something better.

          Very happy with Vanguard.

I use Vanguard for my Roth. Pretty satisfied with them.

I'm with T. Rowe Price. They have been very help from the beginning. Never had any problems with them.

Vanguard has been very solid for both my wife and I. She is incredible, her income is half of mine, but she has twice the amount put away, how is that possible? My wife is frugal as heck!

Don't use Share Builder. Their trading platform is sketchy and they will not honor the errors that it sometimes experiences. There are better firms out there - Schwab is the one I currently use.

Nothing wrong with them either. I have used Scottrade but was not impressed with their trading tools. I really like Schwab and Fidelity is pretty good as well. I have heard good things about Vanguard but their site can be a little "basic". It's all in what you are looking for.

Vanguard, Waddell & Reed, Edward Jones in order of size. Very satisfied with Vanguard and W&R, EJ is good, but pricey.

I've used Sharebuilder since 2006 and never had any issues.
