Nice letter from the 529 plan today

I got a letter from my daughter's 529 plan today informing me that as of 8/29/10, the annual management fee for the investment portfolios has been reduced from 0.49% to 0.25%. They said that "efficiencies gained through technological advances and the continued growth of the plan" have enabled them to lower the expenses. Sounds good to me.

Thats good that someone actually saw the savings due to the advances and then passed it down to the consumer.....congrats

I'm pretty shocked to hear this. I bought dog food a few days ago and even they had reduced the quantity of food while keeping the price the same. From candy bars to dog food, it seems like every product has shrunk, giving you less for each hard earned dollar. It's awesome they are truly looking out for your investment! Cheers =)
