Hi All. To those with Fidelity accounts, did Fidelity lower the minimum amount of additional investments? I have some Spartan Funds where the minimum initial investment is $10,000. However, the addition investment amount minimums were $1000 for manual buys and $500 for automatic account builder.
I noticed today that on the Fidelity website for all the funds I looked at, the new minimum additional investments were $0. I was even able to add an automatic account builder for the Spartan funds of $200 twice a month.
Can anyone else confirm this?
Also, I noticed that the initial investment for the Fidelity Four-in-one index still has the $2500 minimum investment for IRAs but now it shows the minumum balance of $5000 instead of $10000 which is great for those looking for more affordable Spartan Funds. Also, many funds now show a $500 minimum IRA initial investment.
