If/when this happens, there are going to be alot of very happy people out there. Insurance is what USAA is best for, and with little exception, is easily one of the best insurers out there for their prices. Assuming (hoping?) that their quality of service doesn't go down with an influx of new customers, such a move would be great business-wise for them, and a long-awaited change in policy for alot of pre-90's veterans.

Kork, I can't wait for the pre 90's veterans to be "acknowledged"! I also hope USAA's customer service can beat out our awesome State Farm service of 14yrs. I'm really hoping to save more too
