I've been an ING customer for about 3 years and have been very happy with my electric orange account, even in the face of declining APR's.
My one MAJOR gripe is the design of the debit card. The transparent orange horizontal wave thing makes merchants think it's the mag stripe, and it always takes them a time or two to get it swiped the right direction. I've been almost out the door of a coffee place before the cashier realized the sale didnt go through and they had to call me back.
With some millions of users out there, I can't be the only person that faces this frustrating situation. I had my card replaced about 6 months ago and was hoping they had enough feedback to change the design . . .NOPE! I ended sitting next to a VP of ING a couple months ago on an international flight, and politely suggested they look into a new design to prevent this confusion.
So, anyone else have this issue?
