  • Saved $138.00 Upgrading imac memory

I was looking to upgrade my mac computer memory from 1 gig to 4 gig. So I decided to check out BestBuy last week and found a 4 gig memory for $129 + $49 installation.

I went online and found a short clip USER guide on "how to upgrade imac memory". It was simply and cheap. It took less 5 minutes. I also found OCW which sells mac memory for ONLY $49.00 + tax with 5 days shipping. Yup $80 cheaper that BestBuy. It arrived yesterday and installed it and VOILA! What a difference in computing speed. Saved me $138.00 taxes included. Bottom line: It pays to do your own research.

Best Buy is such an ironic name, they are quite literally the worst possible buy for any piece of hardware unless you've got a gift card. They price gouge on RAM and HDDs in particular, online is always a far better option. Oh, and I've also got an iMac.
