Hi all. I just got done using one of the new Bank of America ATMs and thought I'd share. I'm sure DisneySteve will love these as it will help him out depositing checks. The newset BoA ATMs now take stacks of cash and checks. They can handle 20 bills and 10 checks at one time.
For cash a slot opens up, you put in the cash, it closes and then counts your money. It then confirms how much you put in. As I found, it may only take some of your cash as it won't accept ripped or folded bills. It then opens the slot and lets you take out rejected bills.
As for checks, I only did one, but you can place up to 10 in the check slot. It scans them all and then you confirm the amounts. If you have more than 10 checks or 20 bills, you need to do a second transaction. This is certainly better than having to feed everything in one by one. Overall a great experience. And I must say the ATM attendant at the BoA near my work was very courteous and was explaining to people how the ATMs worked at the were just installed three days ago.
