      My wife and I used Ameriprise (then IDS) when we first started investing and saving for retirement 16 or 17 years ago.

      I'm too lazy to type up all my complaints with the company, but if you are willing and able to manage your funds by yourself, I strongly suggest you leave.

      We are no longer customers of Ameriprise.
