Tell me what you know about investing? How are you going to pick your stocks? How are going to know when to buy and when to sell? Do you have a 401k plan? How do you manage that account? Have you studied about stocks and bonds?

        Zillionaire,
If your goal is to own individual stocks, there are many companies which offer direct purchase and reinvestment of their stock. ( Sometimes, you have to own 1 share before you can buy direct. ) You have to price it out, but generally the fees are lower going direct than going through sharebuilder.

Yeah, I do have 401k but I want to buy different stock out side of my company. Hope I can make some buck. I'm not planning to buy stock at this moment though. Not until next year IF the market's doing well.

Explain your reasoning here. The market is at a 5-year low. Why would you want to wait for the market to recover before you buy in? The mantra is "buy low, sell high", not the other way around.

I use Scottrade. They are $7/trade. If your refer new customers, you and the new person each get a few free trades.
