All week I felt so so and tired working. I guess I haven't really recovered from our family trip vacation in San Diego. But today, VISA cheered me up bigtime!! Their earnings beat Wall Street expectation by a mile. I feel good again

If I may add a real quick thought, perhaps the question isn't so much whether Visa will climb up to Mastercard's level, but whether Mastercard will drop down to Visa's.

I'm very bad at predicting future prices, but I do think Mastercard's way over-priced right now.

With a P/E of 96, I would agree!!! Mastercard should be worth, what, $35-$45? Heck, Berkshire Hathaway is cheaper than MasterCard right now.

Really? Last I looked, it was 108. My, it sure has come down....

Yeah, share price was hovering around the $280's or so a few weeks ago, and is around $230-ish today.

Wow, yeah, it's kind of amazing what's happening lately....

Visa beats estimates and it rallies (taking MA along with it).

Mastercard beats estimates, but points out a one-time settlement with Amex, and the stock plunges (taking V along with it).

Elsewhere, some people are freaking out over 100k+ in paper losses. Ouch!
