  • Reminder - $100 TD Ameritrade Bonus offer ends March 31

Only 3 weeks left to sign up for the the Suze Orman / TD Ameritrade "Save Yourself Plan." You have to open a MMA and sign up for automatic transfers of at least $50 per month. After you have made 12 consecutive automatic transfers, you get a bonus of $100!

Web site: Suze Orman’s Save Yourself Plan : Women & Money, Owning The Power To Control Your Destiny

Save Yourself offer code: 701 (Suze said it's okay to share the code)

Only 3 weeks to go and then this offer will be gone!
If you've been meaning to sign up but forgot or haven't gotten around to it, go do it!

P.S. - The APY on this account is not the greatest, but the $100 bonus more than makes up for that.

I'm being obnoxious and bumping up my own thread (sorry), but there are lots of new folks to the boards and I thought some of them might like this chance to get a "free" $100.

Only 8 days to go! What are you waiting for?

I opened up an account a little over a year ago, and they just deposited my $100 bonus a few days ago. I love free money!

sorry if this is obvious to everyone else, but quick question.....it looks like the initial deposit only has to be $50, and then each of the 12 transfers have to be at least $50.......but are there any other requirements?

        thanks

Nope that's it as far as I know. You have to leave it all in there for the entire year. I just got my easy $100 bonus posted as well. Thanks TDAmeritrade!

            aurielle and LuxLiving,
Are you using the account to make stock/mutual fund purchases or are you using it as a savings account? (If you are using it for stock/mutual fund purchases, does that go against the requirement to qualify for the $100.00 bonus?)

It is basically a money market DEPOSIT account. I think that Suze Orman reccommended it to women because they are less likely to use a brokerage. It has perked up my interest to maybe look into bonds and other items.

I am just using it as a savings account.

If my memory is correct, you have to sign up for automatic monthly transfers of $50 ... In other words, you have to link it to another bank account from which automatic transfers are taken. Other than that, no special requirements.....It has been very painless.

Way to go getting signed up so fast, aurielle & LuxLiving!
I should be getting my $100 in about a month and am really looking forward to that!
