    Tech led the 1990's bull, and hasn't led since 2000-2002 bear. So I think tech would be higher on my list than financials or REITs.

    REITs is what started the RE bubble (safe haven in 2000-2002). I would avoid REITs for another year or two (won't rebound until 2009).

    I have a friend which is in RE (he is a RE attorney) and he is hearing from various sources that where we live in Ohio will be crumbling until 2009 at earliest, maybe 2010. Lots of foreclosures in the works, and similar issues.

      The problem is with techs is that I have exposure to techs, somewhat I'm sure, within the Janus Overseas and the T. Rowe Price Blue Chip.

      I'm not trying to time per se. . .but REITs are on the way down and if I am to stick to my philosophy, now is the time to buy rather than trying to time it in 2010.

        I hope you have patience for REITs, I think you could wait 2 more years and still be buying low.
