  • How to open euro bank account in US?

The U.S. dollar has been going downhill. I know I am getting in late, but would like to convert to some EUROs. I fear the dollar might continue to slide. I don't really want to keep the EUROs at my house. Will banks in the U.S. allow you to open a savings account in EUROs? I am talking about small deposits (maybe $500 at a time). I live in Texas and use Chase bank.

Again, one option is to look into Forex.

Again, it's possible that the Dollar is simply depressed right now due to our current economic climate. It's very likely that it'll rebound in time rather than collapse altogether.

Thanks for the info. Getting some EUROs now would give me peace of mind. I will make more dollars in the future. I thought FOREX was more for short term currency exchange/trading. Can I leave my money in an account, kind of like a CD or money market account?
