Pension plan changes

Are any of you deciding to retire to receive your pension? At my organization, many are looking to retire because they fear that the account may not be fully funded and they may not be able to pull out a lump sum in the future.

Well, they're right to worry cus pensions are a dying breed. But there's not a whole lot you can do about it, except, as you've said, to retire, but that seems a bit extreme. Unless you had planned to change careers anyway.
