online banking accts?

Vanguard Prime MMF is very good, but if you're interested in getting a better rate, there are several MMAs with a better interest rate and are FDIC insured.

The Vanguard MMF gives you checkwriting privileges which is a nice perk not available with most high yield savings. Also, if you invest with Vanguard, it makes it simple to transfer money into your investments from your MMF.
