        Well, they do it for propane, and around here they do it for hay & corn also.

          I think it's a wonderful idea! I only heard of it a few years ago but I wish one would come to my area, or that I'd stocked up on gas ten years ago. I remember when I started college I thought 1.00/gal was high!

            You can save a bunch of money by taking advantage of the seasonal spreads by purchasing gasoline in November- January. My big question is what is the catch? Are there any monthly storage fees like for many other commodities?

            Regarding propane I have seen a shift away from lock-in pricing and was a major reason why I went to a wood burning appliance. Yes you can get it quite a bit cheaper in August but usually a 500 gal tank won't last a season.

              I can remember when gas wa 19 cents a gallon. $3 would fill my car.

                They have it for propane here as well, but gas, thats a new one. I hope it comes all across the states, that would be great.

                Summertime is approaching, we know what that means for gas prices. Up they go

                  I guess the same theory is going to work with the new 'forever' stamps, eh? Does anyone know off hand when those are coming out?
