    Re: Anyone using TradeKing?

Sounds interesting enough to warrant a gander.

I like Interactive Brokers for the $1 per trade (for 200 shares or less), but that is $5 for 1000 shares.

OptionsHouse only charges $2.95 per trade for unlimited shares.
Don't let the name fool you, they do stocks too.

Just found another world wide broker called SogoTrade charges $3 a trade for unlimited shares.

My favorite is still Interactive Brokers with their $1 trades. They have a great datafeed too.

            Interesting! Thanks for sharing.

I've heard of the rest except Interactive Brokers. I thought the deal was too good to be permanent, but maybe not. They require a $10k minimum account balance, which I take it is the "catch".

Zecco has 10 free trades per month and Wells Fargo has 100 free trades per year, but both require a $25k minimum balance.

So, it sounds about right to me.

I'm currently still with Scottrade, but I am going to give these other guys some serious thought....

Do they have something Interactive Brokers (a world wide broker with $1 trades) doesn't have?

Mind if I ask what you pay for trades? Isn't it like $9.99 + other fees?

Now take it to the next step and add a few more rules, like:

Beware of fund managers doing window dressing as we approach the end of the month!

Don't get caught too Long when the market tumbles!

Please don't scare me like that.

The clouds grow more ominous as winter and Dow 10,000 draws closer.
