No thanks. I feel it is wrong to pray for money. I don't feel prayer should be used for personal financial gain.

Praying for provision, wisdom with money, honesty, having the right priorities, oppurtnities to help others with our money and time and God's guidance over the ethical distribution of our gifts, contentment, repaying debts ("let no debt remain outstanding") sound like wonderful prayer points.

Praying for each others money handling abilities is fine with me (stewardship), but I agree that praying specifically for money is not what the Lord had in mind. When faced with a bill I can't see how I am to handle I pray for wisdom. I really don't want money (good thing since we have none) I want to do the Lord's will with what he has given us. He will trust us with more when we have proven we can handle what he has already given us. Remember the parable about the servants whose master gave them money while he was away.
Note to "fiance wanted" I prayed that you would have Godly relationships and be able to discern His plan for your life.

I used to be so worried that I would never meet anyone. Well here I am twenty plus years on and I am married with a family. My mother used to say that for every old sock there was an old shoe. I never quite understood what she meant at the time but I do now.

You will find that "someone". Keep believing. It will happen!
