    Saw this quote and it spoke to me..

    Most people chase excitement, not consistency. The ones who stick to boring routines long enough end up owning the results.

      I agree in theory I think the quote is horribly worded.

      I don't think the average person would say saving 15% is unreasonable. I would say saving 50% is, but I don't think that is what he is suggesting.

      An extended period of time to me is 5 years. The goal of retirement savings is +40 years.

      There is nothing boring at all about transferring $2,500 at a time to a Roth IRA.

      I'd challenge the statement by saying "Wealth is accumulated by living within your means and consistently investing".

      Thanks for the quote though, I will have to look him up this evening!
