Cabinet Minister is shorting stock, are you? Who do you trust?

How do I tell where real value exists and what is being manipulated by the super wealthy?

Snafu - it should be based on earnings, right?

So if the company has a business model that makes sense and generates profit, then it should be providing value. Take Coca-Cola for example, they make drinks that people like to consume, and are happy to pay for. You can look at their books and see the value based on their earnings statements.

Once you have a real sense of their earnings, then you can come to a valuation based on price. Any variances base on that analysis should tell you if price manipulation is a possibility.

In other words: one can see if the manipulation is there, you just need to do the analysis.

He looks like a Wilbur if I ever saw one. I thought politicians had to have someone else manage their assets so they couldn't manipulate things?

That's always been the rule until Trump came along. He and his family are in violation of the law a dozen different ways and he certainly isn't going to enforce it against anyone else if he isn't going to follow it himself.
