Ink jet recycling?

Is there somewhere that pays for ink jet recycling? Staples used to rebate $2 per recycled ink jets up to 10 ($20) but I'm not sure they still do this. I currently have 10 empty ink jets consisting of both color and black and debating whether I should just throw them out with the trash or recycle it. What do others do or where do you recycle your ink jet cartridges?

The Staples website still has the ink rewards listed. I just give mine to the Humane Society. They use them to get points for the office supplies they need.

I received an email from Staples saying they still do the rebate on the ink cartridges.

I know many of the charities do accept them as well.

I take mine to Walgreen's and have them refill them for me. I have one set in use and the other getting refilled then I have no downtime.
