  • Extra pay for extra duties...

    They eliminated a position in my department (which was a step above me) and my new immediate boss asked that I temporarily take on the extra duties for an extra $75 a day on top of my $98k salary. I'm stoked and just had to share.

    I'm also just honored that she chose me above my colleagues that have been in the department longer.

    I get paid biweekly, so it should amount to an extra $500/pay. It's probably only going to be for a few months - but I'm going to sock it away in my House downpayment fund (which is at $15k right now).

        That's a 20% pay raise!

        I'm also just honored that she chose me above my colleagues that have been in the department longer.
        Unless they're already making that extra $500/week without having to do the extra work.
