Just found this out today that Amazon has a program for college kids that gets them discounts and a Prime shipping deal to help save on college costs. For those parents facing this, you might want to check this out. Do a search for Prime Student on amazon. It looks like more of the sort of thing that they have for folks on welfare that get Prime for half price.
Some of the discounts are for things that seem a bit weird to me as something a college student would need, but some things might really help especially for textbooks if being sold via Amazon or a Prime seller 3P merchant.
