Today I made $20 cash selling a vintage blow mold baby Jesus and manger through Facebook Marketplace that I got free from a curb alert in the app.

About a month ago, I got a vintage JVC stereo cassette deck that wasn't working. I knew that it could be sold for parts. I listed it on ebay and it sold last night for $89. After it sold, I messaged the buyer to confirm that they understand it doesn't work and is being sold as is for parts. They were fine with that. It's always good to check because a lot of people buy stuff on ebay without reading the description, or even the title for that matter, or looking at all of the pictures. It's baffling but it happens all the time.
Bottom line is that I got something for free off of Marketplace and a few weeks later sold it for $89.
A few days ago I got a set of 8 MCAT prep guides and already have somebody who wants them all. Assuming he follows through, that will be a $108 sale.
Yesterday, I got a TiVo DVR unit in perfect working order. That's listed now for $44.95.
I love selling free stuff.Last edited by disneysteve; 12-31-2022, 05:52 PM.Steve
* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.
