Overall 80% satisfied with all the products that I've bought from Temu. Some of the products are cheap junk stuff but I'm happy with most of the products that I've purchased. Granted I do my research before purchasing whereas others may buy on a whim thus receiving junk cheap items. One jacket that I bought out of 4 jackets ($7.50 each) is very thin which I don't like but it is hard to decifer from just the picture displayed but no biggie. 3 out of 3 shoes ($7.50 each) that I bought I'm happy with and would buy it all again. Lightweight and lots of cushion. Better than some Nike's or New Balance shoes that I've owned. The $104 power inverter is by far the best item. The past 2 weeks now I've been eating hot lunches, coffees, and teas in my car when for years I've been eating cold lunches. It is so nice to have hot lunches and hot beverages in my car.

The $115 power inverter that I bought from Temu got about 15 uses out of it and now sometimes doesn't work, so $10 per use, not bad, but not good either. Next I ordered this power inverter from ebay which has continuous power 2000W and peak power 4000W. Hope I'll get more uses out of this one.

Gee the cheap Chinese knockoff crap didn’t last? What a shocker.

Ha-ha, sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some. That's the chance that I took and I'm fine with it. Even the expensive good quality products are defective sometimes.

I'd rather buy let's say 10 of these cheap knock off body cams for $30 each vs 1 Go Pro for $299. Actually, I'm currently at about my 10th cheap body cam at this point over many years.

Once the plastic clip of a body cam broke while ebiking on the road. I went back but it was too late and a car ran over it and all I could salvage was the micro SD card. A $30 loss was no big deal vs a $300 loss if it were a Go pro.

Sure but I’ll bet the $300 one would have had a much sturdier clip and wouldn’t have broken so readily so you’re not comparing apples to apples.

Sometimes cheap crap is all you need. Other times it’s worth paying for quality. All depends on the situation. The fact that you’ve already gone through 10 cheap cameras tells me you probably should have bought 1 good one somewhere along the line.

Rec'd my new $89 power inverter today and will be running tomorrow for lunch and will report back how it works. The 10 cheap body cams includes a few ball point pen spy cams. Those are pretty lame with grainy quality videos and the battery life is very short at maybe 1 hour of recording. The square body cams last all day or close to all day. And the quality is quite good. Blenders come to my mind. A $500 Vitamix is wonderful but this $129 cheap China blender with 2000 watts would work just as good and possibly even better than a $500 Vitamix. I would buy the $129 blender 4x's before I pay for a $500 Vitamix. (I forgot to attach the link).

By purchasing the $300 Go pro vs the $30 cheap China body cam, you're only paying for the excessive marketing Go pro spent making those TV commercials.

I’m sure there’s some truth to that but do you really think the $30 camera and $300 camera are identical in every way and of equal quality? I highly doubt that.

I saw a thing a while ago showing why you can buy a phone charger for a couple of dollars on Amazon but Apple charges $35 for theirs. They look identical but when you open them up, the components inside are wildly different as far as quality goes.

The $300 Go pro is probably way higher quality than the $30 cheap China body cam but my expectation is proportional where I'm okay if I have to go thru 10 cheap ones vs 1 Go pro. But as you mentioned that sometimes it is worth it to pay for higher quality. Apple chargers are a good example which you brought up and I only buy Apple chargers and not the cheap knock offs. Apple will void a warranty if Apple inspects a claim and discovers non-OEM genuine Apple products were used.

As promised my review of my new $89 power inverter..........inconclusive as of now. Used it 3x's today. At 7:45 am, used it for 1 minute using the electric heating coil and rolling boil in 1 minute for freezed dried coffee. At 12 noon used it for 3 minutes microwaving my food which came out lukewarm but usually needs 4 or 5 minutes but was hungry so ate it lukewarm. At 12:20 pm, used it for 1 minute to make tea and rolling boil again in 1 minute but a beeping sound activated. Hence inconclusive and will have to use it more next week but WFH Mon & Tues. I can see disneysteve chuckling right now saying "I told you" but it is still too early for me to make determine how good or bad it is. Also, my microwave sounded different today sort of like more power but not sure.

The red alligator clip was the culprit, not the unit. The cables nicely tied together in a circle on top of this unit came with this unit but it doesn't have alligator clips so I used the cables with alligator clips which came with the previous red unit which is probably still good. The red alligator clip was probably loose while I used the previous red uint and today it completely came loose which is what was causing the beeping noise from this unit and why the previous red unit didn't work. I will flatten the copper which curls around the wire and sand the copper then curl it back up and crimp it. Then flux then solder the wire to the copper alligator clip and both units should work fine. Now if I only didn't rush to buy this other unit and used my technical skills to diagnose why the red unit was sometimes working and sometimes not working but live and learn. And it was only $89 and luckily not $899.

Soldered & done. Ready for tomorrow morning's coffee. Next will order alligator clips for the other cables.

Noteworthy on the cheapness of the disconnected red wire from the alligator clip was that it was not originally soldered and only crimped originally. The best connection is a soldered connection and not just crimped. But I'm okay with cheap China crap because the McGyver in me can fix things.
