    I agree the first statement but how often does someone refer someone else to a Dr that they happened to see a Facebook advertisement for? Off the top of my head the easiest way to track it would be to offer some discount within the advertisement. That way you know you are at least getting people to look at the ad.

    For the second example, why should they count as coming in from advertising? It is getting too much into MLM.

      If not for the ad, none of those patients would have gone there. If you only count the "1st generation" visit and not subsequent patients that feed off of that, you would be underestimating the value of your advertising.

        I've never owned a business but if I were ever to start one, I would definitely find a way to identify each specific advertisement I paid for.
