  • Its National Savings Day

    Hi Everyone,

Today (Tuesday October 12th) is National Savings Day.

While National Savings Day isn't a officially recognized holiday, there are still lots of great ways to observe it:

    1. Open a savings account
    2. Transfer $5 bucks into your savings account.
    3. Set up your direct deposit so that you put a portion of your paycheck into your savings account
    4. Set a savings goal
    5. Email a friend and remind them to save, or post a savings tip on social media.

I didn't even know that this was a thing.
I was moving some money around yesterday, so I guess I was celebrating without even knowing

Same here. We were away from 9/27-10/10 so I hadn’t done the monthly stuff I normally do at the start of each month so last night I transferred money to Ally and Vanguard.
