  • MyCokeRewards is changing

Not sure if there is anyone on here that participates in this rewards program, but there is announcement of their website that the program is changing. The program will no longer be about accumulating points to buy stuff. It is replacing it with instant rewards when you enter codes, whatever that means.

March 22 - Last day to enter codes
June 30 - Last day to spend points
July 1 - New program begins

I burned through a lot of my points during the holiday promotion, so I shouldn't have any trouble spending what I have remaining.

I should just cash mine in. I was waiting until I had enough for something my daughter would have liked, but the cheaters that use code generators ruined it for me. One time I had 4 in a row that were already claimed. I would guess about 20 codes were "stolen" that should have been mine. I know, call the wahmbulance. They should still do something about the code generators, though.

Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard. It would be nice if they emailed everyone to alert them to this.

I have a ton of codes and probably a few hundred points in my account. I'll try and use them up. I always use them to get free/reduced price 12-packs.

That figures. Was hoping they would offer the 30 point 12 packs (unlimited) in 2016 but it never happened. I think it was only like limit 5 during xmas.

Time to go through some points. Have around 3k in one and 1k in another.

It ended up being limit 6 per account. Despite that being an amazing deal, I was content with a low limit. There was no shortage of slickdeals members complaining that they weren't getting their coupons. I didn't have any problem, but I don't want the aggravation of calling when something doesn't arrive.

I use my points for Amazon & Walmart giftcards, which you get via e-mail.

Not sure there will still be much of a demand for these, but wanted to mention that there is a thread on slickdeals for trading.

I wish I knew about the 30 point deal. I don't get emails from them anymore. I know they have the correct info. I don't even get the warning email when my points are about to expire. I think they are trying to get rid of me.

I wonder if the new rewards program will be as well received as their previous attempt to update it with the status bar.

I can't see how it will be.

From their little video on the website, "instead your product codes will be used to get instantly rewarded from your favorite Coca Cola brands."

Not sure what that means, but what type of instant reward can they possibly give you from a code from a single 20oz bottle?

I wonder if they will require people to use the app, which you could use for a discount?

Yea we also did the amazon gift cards. At one point something was messed up on mcr site...you could keep purchasing 12 pack coupons and amazon gift cards. I think I purchased around 15 amazon and I forget how many coke coupons. It was a glitch and I had to call to get my points put back on my account. It actually was kind of a win since the person screwed up and gave me 400 extra points by accident. That only happened on one account...the other account they only gave back the exact amount I spent.

I saw posts about that glitch. Thankfully that day I was probably wasting time on here and didn't see it before the glitch was corrected.

I just saw a post on slickdeals that an item (AMC movie tickets) that was available this morning is already out of stock.

I only have 942 points with probably about 80 points worth of codes to enter on unopened bottles. I am hoping the Amazon lasts until I can get another one. I think I have to wait until later in the week for that offer to open up to me again.

It is crazy what I am reading on slickdeals since this was announced. Some people have in the 8 to 10k range for points that they need to spend. Another member has a bin of codes that haven't been entered totaling in the thousands.

The codes can be entered on the new site but I read it was just contests. I haven't checked it out yet since I don't have any codes to enter at the moment.

Thank you for this Storm. I just signed up last week.
I noticed I have access to many beer UPC's also so am trying to find a use to save them too for some gift certificates to give away for B-Day presents and Xmas.
I wish there was a pepsi company rebate program

I have a ton of codes that will go to waste. Oh well. They didn't cost me anything.

From what I am reading, you can enter them on the new site for contests.

Also, there are people out there looking for points and willing to trade for them. I see Amazon $$ traded often, along with other e-gift cards.

There was a woman on there today that gave away some codes
