Ever thought about credit card churning?

Now I don't mess with opening cards. I put a freeze on my credit because of all the frequent hacks, just don't want to mess with it anymore.

Bit of a hassle, but if you are done with new credit outside of known situations (planning enough ahead) that probably is the best way to avoid identity theft. You can just as easily call each bureau and have it unlocked when you knew you wanted to do something with it.
