Sorry I was intending to post all pics if 1 post but it's not allowing it. The California downtown gave me 3 free nights. These were most of it. I had some other smaller win.
During my 23 years as a nurse, I worked many a Christmas. I kind of didn't mind, we have a big family celebration on Christmas Eve and by the time I had little kids and would want to be present Christmas morning, I didn't have to work Christmas anymore or I could trade shifts and work 3-11.
I actually liked working Christmas. In the hospital, most patients had family visiting so you could really spend time with the ones who were alone. In the home care setting, you got to see families together often celebrating a last Christmas. I would bring lunch and small presents to those who were totally alone.
there are worse things than having to work on Christmas
