  • Ebay question - Any way to stop accepting offers?

When I list items on ebay, I always uncheck the "Accept Offers" box. I price my items at the lowest price I'm willing to sell them for. If I was willing to take less, I'd set the price lower. Makes sense, right? Ebay doesn't think so. Even though I say I do not want to accept offers, ebay automatically goes in after a week or two and changes it to Accept Offers. I have to go in manually, item by item, and change it back. It's a huge pain, especially when I've got a couple dozen listings active.

Is there any way to change my settings permanently so Ebay doesn't do this?

Sounds like eBay will continue to do so. As they say you can't fight the Feds. With that said price your item higher and accept offers. You're fighting a losing battle.

That would be counterproductive. Most people won't bother to make an offer if the price is too high so doing that would just wreck my sales.

I'll keep going in and changing it back when ebay changes it.
